 Student Data Operations
DATA OPERATIONS. The Web Management provides instructors and administrators with a set of standard data operation routines to allow students to be enrolled in the curriculum software and courses.

The ISI Web Manager defines six basic student data management operations that are accessible to the customer project administrators and managers:

    1. ENROLL. The enroll routine is used to create a student login account, including student numerical ID, student username and password, along with student demographics information, and courses enrolled in.
    2. MODIFY. The modify routine is used to change the information created using the ENROLL routine. In order to MODIFY a student record, the manager must know the student's user number.
    3. DELETE. The delete routine is used to delete student information from the system. This routine is only available to ISI staff. Please contact ISI for access and information about this routine.
    4. EXAMINE. The examine routine allows a manager to view the information created using the ENROLL routine. In order to EXAMINE a student record, the manager must know the student's user number. The EXAMINE routine is often used by staff who are not allowed to access the MODIFY or ENROLL routines.
    5. LIST. The list routine is the most commonly used routine, and provides a list of currently enrolled student numbers along with their basic enrollment information, such as first name, last name, secondary ID, and username.
    6. PASSWORD. The password routine allows the customer project administrator or manager to change their password. Please contact ISI staff should you have problems with password access to the ISI Web Manager.
