    Center advisors are available to help students plan their course of study for the summer, and to provide an initial orientation to the software at the center lab.
Prerquisites: Students will be asked to take the CPT's (Computerized Placement Tests) prior to enrolling and again at the completion of the course(s).
Description::
These computer-assisted instructional programs are designed to improve student skills in remedial math and college math. If your scores on the Computerized Placement Tests indicate that you need more work in math, these web-based courses will provide you with the opportunity to work through a series of questions and problems to give you the skill-building practice you need. It is recommended that students maintain at least an 80% success rate on each module/lesson. Students who are having trouble achieving this level are encouraged to contact the course tutor.
Software Availability:

Students who pay a $10 registration fee will be given a password within a few days. They may work on the software at their own pace, although they are expected to meet with an advisor to set goals and create a realistic schedule of assignments for the summer.

The software will be available to students through August 31, 2000.
