Every person does not react to alcohol in the same way. Some people get silly. Some people get very friendly. Some people get silent and withdrawn. Others get wild and want to fight.

No one says not to drink at all. If you do drink, don't overdo it. It has been found that a 140 pound person who has three drinks in two hours could become impaired, or function poorly. That means the person would probably use poor judgment, have slow reactions, or have poor coordination. With five drinks, the same person could be classified as drunk, or intoxicated.

You may think that only hard liquor and wines are alcohol. A can of beer, a glass of wine, or a mixed drink all have the same amount of alcohol. Drinking beer is just as serious as drinking wine or hard liquor. Three cans of beer in two hours would affect you just as three glasses of wine or three mixed drinks with hard liquor. And the drinks you have stay with you for 90 minutes. The only way you can get rid of alcohol is to pass it. This takes time.
