BASIC SKILLS ASSESSMENT

The basic skills assessment series consists of Basic Assessment Mathematics and Basic Assessment Reading. These tests are designed to help determine a learner's basic functional literacy skill levels in reading and math; however in an employability context. The tests are often used to place learners into occupational training, work readiness, and remedial academic programs. They can also provide a guide to a learner's entry skill levels within those programs. The basic skills assessments may be used as a pre-test and as a post-test to measure program progress. Tests results are immediately available via the ISI Manager.
