Each participating college will be provided with its own set of chat rooms, which will be available to students and instructors 24 hours a day. Of course, chat rooms are not very fun if there aren't at least two people in there.

The instructor of the course will establish the policies pertaining to the use (how often, what topics, etc.) of the chat rooms. The chat rooms are commonly used for scheduled instructor office hours. They are also used for class meetings. Students may use them to work on projects.
